The mad scientist Dr. Ivo Robotnik sets out to the mysterious South Island, where it's believed the legendary Chaos Emeralds exist. There, he sets up his base and captures the various animal inhabitants on the island, trapping them in robot shells and having them search for the emeralds for him. However, his plan will soon hit a snag when Sonic the Hedgehog arrives to stop him and free his animal friends. (more...)
