Sonic Riders is a racing video game which was released for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and Microsoft Windows in 2006. It is centered around the Extreme Gear Grand Prix held by Dr. Eggman. The game introduces three characters: Jet the Hawk, Storm the Albatross, and Wave the Swallow, a team of Extreme Gear-riding Bandits. The game eventually received two sequels, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity and Sonic Free Riders, which released in 2008 and 2010 respectively.
