This template is used as part of the Sonic Archive's On This Day feature. See the project page for more information.
To use this template, simply type {{OTD|<<Year>>|<<Whatever happened on this day>>}} in the appropriate day slot in the corresponding month page for the On This Day feature. For example, to insert the day Sonic the Hedgehog 3 released in the United States, type {{OTD|1994|''[[Sonic the Hedgehog 3]]'' releases in the United States}} in the slot for the 2nd on the Sonic Archive:On This Day/February page. On February 2 of each year, this code will display: Sonic the Hedgehog releases in the United States on this day in 1994!
