Sonic Prime is an upcoming 3D-animated series based on the character of Sonic the Hedgehog. It will be releasing on Netflix in 2022.
The series was officially announced on February 1, 2021 by Netflix, and is being developed by SEGA, WildBrain, and Man of Action Entertainment.

Sonic Prime will feature Sonic the Hedgehog on a new adventure to save the multiverse. His adventure will also be a journey of self-discovery and redemption.

Sonic Prime was first accidentally leaked by Netflix on December 10, 2020, when the affiliated account @NXonNetflix posted a teaser announcement that a new 3D-animated Sonic the Hedgehog series would be releasing on the platform. The tweet was taken down shortly thereafter.
On February 1, 2021, Sega, WildBrain, and Netflix officially announced that a new Sonic the Hedgehog series would be arriving on Netflix in 2022, officially titled Sonic Prime.[1]
